Tencent is the leading internet and mobile service provider in China with a global footprint. Tencent’s service ranges from instant messanging, information, entertainment, search, ecommerce and more.
Brad joined Tencent in 2005, upon graduating from the Haas School of Business – UC Berkeley.
Since then, he has been contributing to the company’s core strategy and spearheading Tencent’s globalization, led the US branch to its current stage. As the owner of Tencent’s US operation and P&L, Brad is responsible for game development and operation, investment and portfolio company management, strategic research, licensing and partnership, as well as other corporate matter.
Prior to his MBA, Brad co-founded NORICT, a Beijing, China based startup venture in Internet Security and Digital Surveillance Systems, responding for Sales and Marketing.
Before NORICT, Brad accumulated over 5 years of marketing and business development experience in several multi-national companies, including IBM, Kodak and Formica.
Brad grew up in China. He earned MBA degree from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in International Marketing from Wuhan University, China.
